A complete car detail is a full reset of the whole car, inside and out, done in your driveway. Maybe it has been a year and the car has months of San Diego dust, pollen, and coastal haze on it, maybe you just bought it and want to start clean, or you are about to sell and want it to look its best. We hand-wash and decontaminate the paint, clean the wheels, and seal the finish, then move inside for a full vacuum, surface cleaning, and, on the higher tiers, steam cleaning, shampoo extraction, stain removal, and leather care. If the car only needs one half, our interior car detailing and exterior car detailing are available on their own. Everything is mobile and finishes in a single visit at your home or office.
The whole car, one appointment.
The sequence is deliberate. Exterior wash first, so drying time works for us while the cabin gets its vacuum, deep clean, and, on the Deluxe, steam and extraction. Then exterior decontamination and protection, interior glass last, and a final walkaround with you before we pack up. Interior and exterior crews of one, same standards as our dedicated interior and exterior services, just choreographed into a single visit.
A Full Complete runs three and a half to five hours; a Deluxe Complete five to seven. You hand over a tired car at lunch and get a finished one before dinner, without it ever leaving your driveway.
What you need ready: a parking spot with a little working room around the car, and someone to unlock it at the start. That is the entire list. The rig carries its own water, power, and lighting, so apartment lots, office garages with clearance, and hillside driveways all work fine. Empty the glovebox of anything private if you like, and mention the parking situation when you book if it is unusual; otherwise, we take it from here and text you when the walkaround is ready.
What a complete detail actually covers.
The cabin, fully reset
The body, decontaminated and protected
The details between
The add-on layer
What a San Diego year puts on a car.
Inland it trades salt for heat: a closed cabin in Poway or El Cajon crosses 130 degrees on summer afternoons, cooking spills into foam and fading trim a shade a season. None of it is catastrophic on its own. Together, it is why a car that skipped a year of care looks five years older than it is.
A complete detail is the periodic answer to all of it at once, and the schedule after that is what keeps the next year from accumulating the same way.
Full Complete or Deluxe Complete?
The Deluxe Complete, $380 to $600, earns its price when history is involved: multiple years without professional care, kids or dogs as regulars, a used purchase with unknown habits, or a sale where maximum presentation pays. Steam, extraction, deep stains, leather conditioning, iron removal, and clay, the whole recovery toolkit in one visit.
When you build your detail online, describe the car honestly and the right tier is usually obvious. When it is borderline, we quote both and tell you which we would pick if it were ours. Nobody upsells a Deluxe onto a car that only needs a Full; the reviews are worth more than the difference.
When one visit beats two.
Complete packages exist for the moments when the whole car needs to come back at once.

Complete package vs booking separately.
You can book the interior and exterior as separate visits. Here is what the complete package changes, from our own price list.
Two separate bookings
- Full interior ($110 to $150) plus Full exterior ($110 to $150): $220 to $300 across two appointments
- Two scheduling windows, two setups, two days the car needs to be available
- The half that waits keeps wearing while the calendar fills
- Right choice when only one half genuinely needs work
One complete visit
- Full Complete: $210 to $300, the same or less, finished in a single afternoon
- Deluxe Complete: $380 to $600 for the maximum treatment inside and out
- One setup, one walkaround, the whole car back at once
- Express Complete ($100 to $150) keeps it that way afterward, the maintenance rate for cars we already look after
Complete detail packages.
Complete packages cover interior and exterior together. Interior-only and exterior-only packages start at $60. All come to you and finish in a single visit.
- 01Express Complete Maintenance tier for cars we have detailed recently, inside and out1–1.5 hrs$100–$150
- 02Full Complete Interior deep clean + exterior decontamination and sealant3.5–5 hrs$210–$300
- 03Deluxe Complete Maximum interior and exterior: steam, extraction, full decon, longer protection5–7 hrs$380–$600
Which complete package is right for you?
Complete packages combine our interior and exterior work. The right tier depends on the vehicle size and how much the car needs.
Staying reset is cheaper than resetting.
For paint you want protected beyond sealant, the natural next step after a Deluxe Complete is a ceramic coating, applied in-shop over paint that is already decontaminated. And when the clear coat needs real defect removal first, paint correction slots in before the coating. Complete detail, correction, coating: that is the full ladder, and you only climb as far as your car actually needs.
Why book the whole car with us.
One visit, one standard, the whole car. If you are comparing full car detailing in San Diego, compare the specifics: published prices, both halves of the car in scope, real decontamination and protection on the paint, and extraction rather than fragrance in the cabin. That list is short around here.
And because the rig comes to you, the usual tradeoff, quality versus convenience, is not the deal on the table. The same complete detail that would cost you a shop day happens while you work from the kitchen table.
Complete details, county-wide.
Coastal bookings lean Deluxe on the exterior, inland bookings lean Deluxe on the cabin, and everywhere in between mixes the two. Wherever the car sleeps, it books the same way. These are the areas that ask for complete details most.
